John Lennons most important works listed
Ex-Beatle John Lennons most significant works were listed by the british music magazine Q. Q listed the songs in it's special number that was released to honor the 9th of October when exactly 65 years of Lennons birth had passed.

Top-10 of the list consisted merely of the old Beatles songs. The number one rank was taken by Help!. A bit surprisingly Imagine, that usually harvests alot of credits in all sorts of polls, was on the rank 16.

The top-3 looks like this:

1. Help!
2. Day Tripper
3. Nowhere Man

Also these songs made their way to the top-10:

In My Life, Tomorrow Never Knows, Strawberry Fields Forever, I Am The Walrus, Dear Prudence, Come Together ja Across The Universe.

Makes on wonder what happened to Let it Be or Yesterday. These lists music magazines like to publish are ofcourse always just the opinions of the editorial staff.

John Lennon, who would've turned 65 October 9th 2005, was shot by a fan in New York in year 1980 at the age of 40. John Lennon made his breakthrough with his band, The Beatles that created an amazing number of hit songs. John Lennon was one of the main composers for The Beatles.
