iPOD... taking over the world?

Apple are once again pushing the envelope even further in technology, specifically in the hand-held entertainment sector. With their HUGE success with the iPOD mp3 player range, Apple are now on track to make a VIDEO iPOD. That's right, you can watch movies on your iPOD.

With over 28 million music-playing iPods since 2001, it's not hard to see that Apple are in the driving seat, and with so many accessories, and new iPOD's like that nano just being released, it looks as tho Apple are set to hold on to their leading image.

A good product line, but an even better marketing strategy has given Apple a clear lead in their market. With competition such as Sony, RCA, Phillips slow to react, Apple took the initiative and have continued to push on. Even though other hand-held video consoles are on the market, my personal opinion is that Apple will destroy their competition with their heavy-weight champion marketing department.
